About

UX Designer and Researcher with four years of experience designing enterprise and civic technology products that serve real people in high-stakes moments.

Background

I received my M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech in 2020, and my B.S. in Informatics and B.A. in East Asian Languages and Cultures from Indiana University in 2015.

I began my UX career on the platform and design systems teams at Blackbaud, an enterprise B2B software company serving the nonprofit sector, where I developed a strong foundation in scalable, systems-level design thinking. I then moved into UX design consulting at Excella, where I was promoted from Senior to Lead UX Design Consultant in recognition of my contributions to a multi-year engagement with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. There I led design and research efforts on USA Staffing, the federal government's primary talent acquisition system, building research infrastructure from the ground up and designing tools used by HR specialists across dozens of federal agencies.

What I'm Looking For

I'm looking for a Senior UX Designer role where I can continue to grow in my career while improving the lives of everyday people. I greatly value teams with strong design foundations and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. My experience has been in civic technology and the nonprofit sector, and I'm drawn to organizations that share that same orientation toward social good regardless of the specific domain.
